MailVision Announces its RescueLynx Survivability Server FOR HOSTED VOIP SERVICES
that enables services to continue seamless operation during IP network or
softswitch shut down. VON Europe, Stockholm, Sweden May 15, 2006 - MailVision Ltd., has announced its RescueLynx Survivability server that provides local station to station call switching in the event of Network or softswitch failures or during periods of network congestion that result in loss of connectivity to the softswitch. RescueLynx's key benefit is in allowing customers to continue making internal and outgoing PSTN calls even while IP connection between the customer and the service provider's hosted services, is down. RescueLynx, deployed as a separate server on the customers' premises, detects loss of connection with the main application and immediately takes over to enable internal and outgoing calls. RescueLynx continuously checks when the connection with the main application is resumed and switches back to normal mode. "MailVision's RescueLynx survivability solution is a breakthrough to the Industry. It solves the major network failure drawback faced by many Hosted VoIP services. RescueLynx gives subscribers a reliable substitute server during shut down periods", says Benjamin Bar-Ness, VP of Business Development for MailVision. MailVision's RescueLynx server is part of the family of FMC services that run
